You can manage technical information. But what about people?

Unfortunately technical excellence does not necessarily go hand in hand with being an effective manager or team leader. Very often the more technically brilliant people are, the less effective they are as managers. Each role requires a completely different skill set.

We have devised a course entitled ‘Management Skills for Technical Specialists’ which is a 2-day programme with a 3rd day follow-up for review and evaluation.

The practical and hands-on program is designed especially for new and partly experienced technical managers. The learning includes tried and tested management techniques as well as innovative ideas from management thinkers. Delegates will work on their own business issues as well as case studies, workshops and exercises.

Participants will be empowered with the skills and the chance to try things out in a relaxed and ‘safe’ environment.

We will be delivering this both as an in-house company course and also as a public course during early 2006. The course will be delivered to a small group of participants to allow maximum benefit.
